I recently came across a picture from six years ago. You know, one of those “timehop” reminders that suddenly transports you back in time to exactly what you were doing on that day.

This one made me smile.

Six years ago today, I stood in front of 30 incoming school district educators in my hometown.

The topic? Mindset.

We talked about how, even when life feels out of control, we always have the power to choose how we respond. It was a beautiful day of collaboration, connection, and preparation for the year ahead. And though I didn’t know it at the time, it was also the beginning of a whole new chapter for me. One where I was stepping into the unknown with pure BELIEF.

Looking Back at the Journey

So much has unfolded in those six years.

From that one local session, I’ve now stepped onto stages of all sizes—with audiences across the globe—sharing a message that’s deeply personal to me: how to keep going. And here’s what I’ve noticed along the way: more and more individuals are constantly searching for clarity—asking themselves “What is the clear path of my life supposed to look like?”

But while focusing on that question, they’re missing the main point: the path will never be perfectly clear. It’s not supposed to be. But with BELIEF that their message is important. That we are meant to impact each other and the world to be better tomorrow than today. Things WILL HAPPEN.

Part of the journey is steering into the unknown and choosing to believe that what’s ahead—even if you can’t see it yet—is part of your path to success. That belief is what allows you to take the next step, even when the outcome feels uncertain. That’s exactly what KFG (Keep Freakin’ Going) is all about.

The Heart of It All

It hasn’t been a straight path. It hasn’t always been easy. There were plenty of moments when I wondered if the process would ever come together. But here’s what I’ve learned:

  • With hard work.

  • With determination.

  • With setting daily intentions.

…amazing things can (and will) happen.

When I look back at the picture from six years ago, here’s what I know for certain:

  • It always starts and ends with service and community.

  • Every single one of us has an amazing story.

  • And we are always better together.

  • Embrace the unknown with pure curiosity and BELIEF.

To those who have believed in me, supported me, and lifted me up—thank you. And my prayer is this: may we continue to help each other rise—pushing one another out of comfort zones, leaning into the unknown, and stepping into the extraordinary.

KFG!
